One's Observations

A collection of some things I observe along the way.

"For a decade, Russian academic Igor Panarin has been predicting the U.S. will fall apart in 2010. For most of that time, he admits, few took his argument -- that an economic and moral collapse will trigger a civil war and the eventual breakup of the U.S. -- very seriously. Now he's found an eager audience: Russian state media." (Wall Street Journal Article)

If we're going to do this, California should go it alone. I have no problem leaving the state, but it shouldn't be allowed to contaminate the other surrounding states with it's failed welfare-state politics.

Could we send Sen. Boxer and Feinstein to be our representatives on the Politburo in Beijing? They'd be more at home in the Forbidden City than they are anywhere else in the world. I think if we could do that, California would be content just fly the Bear Flag.

He (this Russian guy) is just extrapolating on data that already exists. Unless we grab our homeland back from the faithless, immoral and ridiculous utopian liberals, we'll definitely collapse. I'm not sure I buy the map thing however.

Hmmm...2010 ya say?
