One's Observations

A collection of some things I observe along the way.

Shouldn't the power come from the people? Who is preventing John Conyers and other members of Congress from investigating the corrupt ACORN organization?

"House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers Jr. has backed off his plan to investigate wrongdoing by the liberal activist group ACORN, saying "powers that be" put the kibosh on the idea."

"Mr. Conyers, Michigan Democrat, earlier bucked his party leaders by calling for hearings on accusations the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now (ACORN) has committed crimes ranging from voter fraud to a mob-style "protection" racket." (Washington Times Article)

"I'm sorry Mr. Conyers. That answer just isn't good enough." This should be our collective response.

We need to let our representatives know that we won't allow this issue to die until we get some answers. Even more importantly, until we get some accountability!
